As a society we all have VOICES. As individuals we use our voices to communicate, inspire and more. This can be reflected in our storytelling – a way of using our unique voices to communicate with the world. Now is the time to share these stories. We’re looking for uplifting and powerful prose, poetry, and dramatic monologues from UoG students and alumni. However you interpret the theme VOICES, we want to see your work!  

We are delighted to be supporting GL Communities with our anthology this year. Founded in 2008 and receiving its charity status in 2010, GLC was a merger of three of the most successful of the neighbourhood projects in Gloucester and is now able to offer services all over Gloucestershire.

Working in large social housing estates in the county, to develop the social and economic wellbeing of both individuals and the community, GL Communities is seen as an anchor organisation by those who want to create a better future for themselves and their community.

The charity facilitates the connecting of residents, local businesses and local services and works towards a community that is thriving and aspiring. GLC recognises and actively supports the gifts, skills and talents of the communities it works with, whilst

giving the very best in help and information, well-being and a money advice service.
